WHERE COMMUNITY HAPPENS
The MetroWest YMCA presents
The Team Hoyt Community YMCA
More than simply a building, the YMCA is where big dreams happen.

Babies learn to walk. Children learn to swim. Teens discover their potential. Busy families reconnect. Cancer survivors regain their health. And someone who struggled to walk a mile trains and runs their first marathon. Big dreams are realized at the Y.

Today, we have an opportunity to dream big.

Where Community Happens
For more than a decade, we have talked to thousands of leaders and residents and listened to what the region needs: early childhood education, support for physical and mental wellness, safe spaces for youth, and a place for families and neighbors to connect.

It’s time to make that happen.

This is why we are launching our WHERE COMMUNITY HAPPENS capital campaign to build a new Y, creating health and opportunity in the region for generations.

The new Y will create an energy-efficient, vibrant, and inclusive gathering hub, providing wellness, recreation, and a safe place for all. The design features welcoming social gathering areas, space for healthy activities, and opportunities to help our children grow and thrive.

Our bold vision features:
-
Full-day Early Learning Center
-
State-of-the-art Wellness Center
-
Indoor running track; Outdoor Trails
-
Group exercise studios
-
Meeting and gathering spaces
-
STEM and technology areas for youth
-
Child Watch/ Kids Adventure Space
-
Full-size gymnasium
-
Community kitchen
-
Aquatics Center
-
Outdoor recreation space
The Team Hoyt Community YMCA will be located on 12.5 acres of land in Ashland along the Boston Marathon Route, located near the MBTA Train Station, and easily accessible from all of the communities we will serve.

Leadership Cabinet
Community members from Ashland, Holliston, Hopkinton, Framingham, and Sherborn have led fundraising efforts to bring this new regional facility to the MetroWest community.

How You Can Make It Happen
We are currently in the quiet phase of the campaign and are working with community leaders and philanthropists to secure support for a new Y. The size, scope, and timing of the new Y facility will ultimately be determined by the generosity of the community in support of this effort. Questions?
